Tia Fields is a strategic policy analyst, equity advocate, and consultant dedicated to transforming systems and building community power across Louisiana. 

As a Safety Net Policy Analyst at Invest Louisiana, she focuses on data driven research, analysis, and advocacy to strengthen safety net infrastructure, protect vulnerable populations, and advance economic opportunity.

 Alongside her full time policy work, Tia is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Provisional Consulting LLC, where she bridges grassroots movements and government systems, turning research into advocacy and community vision into impactful public policy. 

A specialist in education governance, Tia is a graduate of several prestigious leadership programs, including the Louisiana Association of Public Charter Schools’ Charter Board Leadership Academy (CBLA), the Baton Rouge Area Foundation's Nonprofit Board and Development Fellowships, and the Baton Rouge Alliance for Students Changemakers and Torch Academy of Politics program. This extensive training has honed her expertise at the intersection of fiscal accountability, public education, and civic leadership. Through her work, she continues to drive statewide legislative strategy focused on education justice and anti poverty policy. 

Her multi faceted work is deeply informed by her foundational background in human services, including seven years spent as a behavioral therapist supporting children on the autism spectrum, as well as her lived experience as a survivor. 

Guided by a personal mission as a mother of three, Tia pairs rigorous strategic analysis with a radical commitment to collective care, ensuring that Louisiana’s institutions are built on empathy, equity, and lasting systemic change.
