Sally Russo, SPHR is Assistant Vice President of Human Resources Compliance and Employee Relations at Ochsner Health, where she leads initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture, strengthen employee relations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support one of the region's largest healthcare workforces.

With more than two decades of human resources leadership experience, Sally has built her career helping organizations develop high-performing teams, cultivate inclusive workplace cultures, and navigate complex employee relations and compliance matters. Prior to her current role, she served as Assistant Vice President of Human Resources Business Partner at Ochsner Health and held senior human resources leadership positions at Amedisys, where she oversaw employee relations and human resources strategy for corporate operations.

A Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Sally is committed to developing leaders and creating workplaces where employees can thrive. She has earned professional certifications in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and as a Mind Gym Certified Facilitator, reflecting her passion for leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement. She is also an active community leader, having served in multiple leadership roles with the St. Mary's Dominican High School Alumnae Association and currently serving on its Board of Directors.

Through her leadership, Sally continues to champion people-centered strategies that strengthen organizational culture, support workforce excellence, and advance the mission of improving the health and well-being of the communities Ochsner serves.
