Janaki “J.R.” Comeaux brings over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, spanning both global and domestic oil and gas as well as renewable energy development. Currently, as a Project Manager in Development at NextEra Energy Resources, she leads innovative energy initiatives and cultivates strategic partnerships. Her expertise includes land services, contract negotiation, cross-functional leadership, and financial analysis, bolstered by an Executive MBA with a concentration in Finance from Tulane University.

A former athletic trainer at Louisiana State University, Janaki is deeply passionate about her home state of Louisiana. A dedicated advocate for energy policy and community engagement, J.R. is actively involved in organizations such as Rotary International, Women’s Energy Network, and the American Association of Professional Landmen. She is passionate about mentoring others, promoting diversity, and fostering connections that inspire collaboration across the energy industry.
